With a global installed base of 1 million passenger seats, the Aftermarket Services business offers a comprehensive aftermarket service to our customers.  These services include spare parts supply and repair services across all classes of seat whether it is Super First Class, Business Class or Economy Class.


As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Supplier Quality Engineer in our Aftermarket Services business located in Winston-Salem, NC.




Reporting to the Quality Director, works directly with the supply base to ensure that products are delivered to specification.  Ability to conduct on-site supplier product and process audits; to include assurance of contract flow down compliance in support of business goals.




  •   Requires demonstrated ability in Blueprint reading, GD&T skills and technical specification experience related to the aerospace industry
  •   Utilizes documents and drawings to ensure suppliers consistently deliver to the defined requirements
  •   Continually work with suppliers to improve performance, implement process control and quality plans
  •   Lead rejection investigations to resolution
  •   Initiate and manage Supplier Corrective Actions (expert)
  •   Interact routinely with purchasing and suppliers to proactively improve quality of parts
  •   Support in the analysis of supplier capabilities
  •   Develop and maintain supplier quality metrics
  •   Perform supplier quality audits
  •   Provide support for supplier quality improvements
  •   Work with project work teams to define project deliverables, project planning, etc.
  •   Develop new work processes, new tools, and functional capabilities
  •   Improve existing supplier quality processes
  •   May be required to provide some technical training
  •   Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned




  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field' minimum five years supplier quality engineering experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to analyze data for accuracy and correctly inerpret results
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshootoing skills
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of business metrics and measurement criteria
  • Ability to work in teams
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization




  • Knowledge of Lean principles
  • Professional quality certifications (ASQ-CQE, CQA)
