As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Supervisor, Inventory Control in our Seating Manufacturing business located in Winston-Salem, NC.


The Supervisor Inventory Control staffs, organizes, and supervises operations within the inventory group of a seating manufacturing facility.  Ensures that staff effectively manages the receipt, storage, selection, packaging, loading, and shipping of products to customers. Key responsibilities of the position include:




  • Control costs through productivity of staff, efficient utilization of storage space, and proper protection of stored materials.
  • Maintain records of inventories and location for production control and cost accounting.
  • Recommend warehouse/material handling equipment needs and replacement.
  • Responsible for ensuring adherence to company policies of conduct and safety; initiates disciplinary action.
  • Identifies the causes of product losses and takes corrective action.
  • Supervises nonexempt associates including interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.




  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university; and a minimum of two years related experience and/or training.
  • Or previous requisite direct work experience.
  • Prior experience performing inventory optimization and ensuring inventory accuracy.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Must have excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.




  • Previous experience with labor resource planning.
  • Lean Belt Certification.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Organized (union) work environment
  • Six Sigma experience.
  • Experience working in an AS9100 environment.
