As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Certification Engineer in our Aftermarket Services business located in Winston-Salem, NC.






Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, the Certification Engineer will research, plan and execute the FAA certification process involved in the redesign, upgrading, reconfiguration and modification of commercial aircraft. 






  • Perform documentation, monitoring and testing


  • Perform a variety of tasks that are planned to provide experience and familiarization with the engineering staff, methods, practices and programs of the company


  • Using readily available clear and direct references, provide solutions to problems


  • Collect and evaluate data, and develop plans for assignments involving design application





  • Bachelor’s degree from an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited college or university in Mechanical, Aerospace or Civil Engineering


  • Competence with Microsoft Office suite to include MS Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint


  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals


  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence





  • On-the-job experience in design engineering or manufacturing engineering


  • Experience in a highly regulated industry, especially aerospace


  • Experience working in large organizations with a geographically dispersed workforce


  • Well organized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities
