As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Specialist, Sr. Trade Compliance (TEMP) in our Global Trade Compliance business located in Wellington, FL.


**Please note that this is a temp to perm opportunity.**



Supports management of the various business groups in all legal and regulatory aspects of BE Aerospace’s import/export activities.  Initial focus on import activities to include classification, US import clearance, responding to import broker requests for information and other import related activities.



  • Provides compliance assistance to B/E Corporate to ensure compliance with the U.S. Customs Regulations, Export Administration regulations, International traffic in arms Regulations as well as other Federal Regulations.
  • Applies knowledge, education & training relative to trade data such as: HTS, ECCN, Import/Export documentation and valuations of products.
  • Interfaces with freight forwarders customs brokers to ensure coordination of import/export activity.
  • Collaborates with B/E offices in foreign countries and facilitate international export/import compliance issue.
  • Works with the logistics operations team and brokers to continuously improve the import and export processes with particular focus on cycle time and cost reductions opportunities.
  • Maintains records of classification, rulings and internal guidance.
  • Applies knowledge, education, and training of C-TPAT, ISF and other trade related programs to evaluate compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Prepares accurate documentation and Automated Export System filings.
  • Ensures employee understanding of legal regulations and principles relative to the import and export through communication and training.
  • Performs license/exception determination on all international shipments including Restricted Party Screening.
  • Provides guidance and training related to import/export compliance questions or issues that arise.
  • Monitors and analyze legal changes affecting import/export requirements and adjust the company’s programs as necessary.
  • Eligible to be an empowered official and must maintain such eligibility.
  • May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to nonexempt personnel and import brokers.
  • Performs other related duties as required.



  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of seven year(s) related experience and/or training.
  • No licenses or certificates are required.



  • Customs Brokers Licensed or Certified Customs Specialist certifications are recommended.
