B/E Aerospace's Fenwick, West Virginia facility specializes in the designing and manufacturing of Aircraft De-Icing equipment and Specialty Products. We provide expert support for reinforced fabric composites, highly engineered injection molded plastics and specialty vulcanized polymer products. As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including two (2) Stockroom Attendants located in Fenwick, West Virginia.

 

Summary:

 

  • Compile and maintain records of quantity, type and location of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment.
  • Perform internal material handling.
  • Work with public carriers when shipping or receiving materials.
  • Deliver issued material to production daily, using material—issue request sheets.
  • Open, verify, repack and label incoming materials.
  • Stage raw materials in designated Quality Assurance receiving-inspection area(s).
  • Assist in performance of weekly or other episodic cycle counts, reconciliation and correction of variances in cooperation with stockroom supervision.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare material for shipment using pick lists generated and must be able to maintain certified operator status to certify that orders are correct.
  • Transport customer orders form the production area to the dock for shipment.
  • Complete packaging slips with required shipping information and present to stockroom supervision with packed order.
  • Provide warehouse support services.
  • Maintain clean, safe and organized warehouse.
  • Detect and report faulty equipment (e.g., scales and other measuring devices), defective material, improper operations and unusual conditions to supervision.
  • Compare inventories to records or computes figures from records such as production issues, to obtain current inventory.
  • Compile information on receipt of disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance.
  • Work extended or extra shifts, if customer requirements cannot otherwise be satisfied.
  • Load/unload motor vehicles, including handling of regulated/hazardous materials.
  • Communicate planned, ongoing or completed production activity to team supervision in a timely manner using appropriate process documents.
  • Perform general warehouse duties as determined by stockroom supervision.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
