  • Responsible to ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of the Philippine Government in Environment, Health and Safety. These government rules and regulations include but are not limited to the regulations of the Department of Labor and Employment (OSHA), Bureau of Fire Protection, Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR A.Os. and R.A. 6969).
  • Responsible with the reporting requirements of the above-named agencies/offices.
  • Responsible for the compliance of B/E Aerospace to Health, Safety and Environmental policy manual.
  • Implements company safety and environment programs and initiatives.
  • Acts in an advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to safety and environment.
  • Acts as Secretary to the central EHS committee or EHS Leadership team.
  • Conducts accident investigation, reporting and analysis. Maintains or helps in the maintenance of an efficient accident recording system and checks action taken by supervisors to eliminate accident causes.
  • Coordinates all safety and environment training programs. Conducts safety and environment seminars designed for B/E employees needs.
  • Conducts regular safety and environment inspection and walk-through.
  • Acts as Liaison Officer and provides assistance to government agencies concerned in the conduct of safety and environment inspection, accident investigation or any other related program.
  • Serves as facilitator in various environment, health and safety teams.
  • Accountable for the proper operation and maintenance of Pollution Control Facilities such as dust collector system, standby emergency generator system, septic tanks and other air pollution control facilities.
  • Responsible for the inspection and maintenance of fire protection equipment of the company.
  • Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of procedures and guidelines for the supply, handling, receipt, inventory and storage of the plant’s chemical requirements.
  • Supervises and coordinates the loading and unloading of chemicals.
  • Responsible for the proper handling, storage and disposal of hazardous and other industrial waste.
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the management from time to time.
