Our Philippines facility, being the first B/E manufacturing site in Asia, is engaged in manufacturing and assembly of Lavatory, Galley and Galley Insert products for the commercial aircraft segment.


As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Engineer I - Design in our Refrigeration business located in FPIP, Tanauan Batangas, Philippines.


Job Responsibilities

The Engineer I - Design has the following duties:

  • Creates Work Instructions (WI).
  • Creates Bill of Process (BOP).
  • Creates manufacture BOM (MBOM)  based on part attribute information.
  • JDE (MRP system) attribute data entry.
  • Other outsource work as identified.
  • Manages multiple work packages as required.
  • Ensures engineering quality and integrity of work package is maintained.
  • Collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering group and other cross-functional areas to generate details on BOM, assembly drawings, Bill of Process, and other pertinent information required to perform the job.
  • Documents process and create desktop procedures.
  • Regularly provides status report of the work packages to the team lead.
  • Implements change to manufacture data set as defined by the Enterprise change process.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferably mechanical, electrical or electronics
  • With at least 4 years of experience in Mechanical Design
  • Knowlegde on CATIA is an advantage
  • Competent with Microsoft Office products.

  • Ability to write professional reports, correspondences, and procedures.

  • Ability to perform basic algebra, geometry and trigonometry functions.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.

  • Capable of interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

  • Experience in electro-mechanical system design, analysis and troubleshooting.
