B/E Aerospace - Anaheim manufactures nearly all galley air chillers and refrigeration insert equipment currently used by airline operators throughout the world. As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Certification Engineer in our Refrigeration Products business located in Anaheim, CA.


The best candidate for the position will have the following skills and experience:
·         Knowledgeable with certification best practices of Boeing, Airbus and the FAA.
·         Familiar with FAA/EASA Part 25 rules and regulations.
·         Ability to work with all levels of engineering and customers.
·         Familiarity with working with outside vendors.
·         Knowledge of MIL-STD-810, RTCADO-160, Boeing D6, and Airbus ABD airborne environmental testing experience.
·         Previous experience with aircraft equipment installation, compliance and conformity.
·         Prior DER in Training experience helpful but not required.
·         Program Management and System Engineering experience helpful.
·         In-depth knowledge of mechanical/electrical/electronic principles and manufacturing practices.
·         Cross-team leadership and communication skills.
·         Experienced with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Access, and Project.
·         BS in Engineering from 4 year college/university with a 1 year of related experience/ training or technical/military degree as a Qualification and Certification Engineer.
·         Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
