  • B/E Aerospace is currently looking for an Assistant Controller for our Finance department in Nieuwegein The Netherlands.*

The Assistant Controller is part of the Finance Team and reports to the Business Controller. He/she will fulfill the following tasks:

  • Tasks*

  • Together with the controller responsible for finance & control

  • Having input on the implementation of (international) regulations

  • Creating monthly financial reports for local management, Group and Corporate parties

  • Creating ad hoc reporting

  • Participation in several project teams

  • Reports to the Controller

  • Responsible for the reconciliation of the payroll with the financial administration

  • Responsible for the monthly VAT declarations

  • Requirements*

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years related experience leading a Finance/Accounting team

  • Fluent in English written and spoken

  • Must have a fundamental understanding of internal accounting controls

  • Strong financial and analytical ability.

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involving strategic planning and resource allocation

  • Able to effectively communicate with all departments and levels of associates through both verbal and written methods

  • Critical thinking skills using logic to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions applying general rules to specific problems

  • Outstanding business acumen

  • Principle-based decision-making abilities and judgment that consider the impact to the entire company

  • Excellent organizational skills and a sense of urgency
