As a leader in the aerospace industry, B/E Aerospace's Commercial Aircraft Segment is seeking an energetic, self-starter for the position of Tooling Technician with our Seating Products Group in *Kilkeel, Northern Ireland. *

- JOB* PURPOSE
The job holder will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and carrying out repairs to ensure proper operation and maintenance of the various tools used in the composite manufacturing process. This role will involve working closely with both the Engineering and Operations teams. This is a hands on role for a skilled mechanical fitter in a major manufacturing site.
Perform maintenance and refurbishment on composite manufacturing tools which includes but is not limited to Compression Mould, Resin Infusion, Resin Transfer and CNC fixturing.
Carryout manual tool changes on all manufacturing tools in line with production scheduling.
Complete repairs and modification of manufacturing tools.
Maintain and track the storage location of all manufacturing tools.
Undertake all works in line with health and safety policies, procedures and legislation.
Generation and implementation of improvement activities.
Maintain a clean and tidy workspace in line with company requirements.
Any other duties as deemed appropriate to the position.

A minimum of two years experience in a relevant mechanical discipline.
A minimum of two years working experience using manual, electric and pneumatic hand tools.
A minimum of two years working experience in a similar role troubleshooting and performing repairs
A minimum of two years mechanical or bench fitting experience.
A minimum of one years experience using precision measuring experience.
NVQ level 2 or higher in a mechanical discipline.
A time served apprenticeship in an engineering or mechanical discipline.
