B/E Aerospace – Shanghai is a Repair Station for all galley air chillers and refrigeration insert equipment currently used by airline operators throughout the world. Our strength lies in the strong teamwork seen throughout all levels of the facility.

- JOB SUMMARY*
Reporting to the Repair Station Manager, the successful candidate will apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports for the Repair Station.
Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
Complies with government and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Accomplishes the result by performing the duty.
May supervisor lower level accounting employees.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university.
Three to Five (3-5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with reporting research results.
Must have strong reporting skills with the ability to provide and understand detailed reporting results.
Experienced accountant with the ability to manage the day to day functions of the accounting operation within a facility.
Data entry management skills.
General math skills.
Strong skills in financial transactions.
Must be detail oriented with an ability to pay close attention to details and deadlines.
Ability to follow documented accounting processes and procedures.
Must be able to communicate fluently in English and apply a high level of confidentiality.
Previous supervisory experience.
Microsoft Office skills
Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external customers.
