As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Procurement Program Manager to support our growing Supply Chain organization in China.

  • JOB SUMMARY*

Supports the Program as the Supply Chain point of contact. Manages the procurement requirements of the Program (s) by liaising with core and extended members of the IPT directly responsible for ensuring supply chain deliver within prescribed time frame and funding parameters and securing procurement resource to support accordingly.

  • JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Reviews program / project plans and provides input for purchasing strategy

  • Monitors program health with a specific focus on parts pipeline health and raises any concerns to appropriate parties and creates action plans to proactively address

  • Works in collaboration with commodity managers to ensure the program parts pipeline is healthy and that parts are being purchased within program budget

  • Ensures accurate communication and reporting in and out of the IPT in the context of procurement activities presenting clear requirements to the Supply Chain Team

  • Drives performance of Supply Chain colleagues and directs tasks of any Supply Chain Resource allocated to the IPT

  • Acts as the Supply Chain point of contact to the customer which may involve attendance at customer meetings

  • Compiles status reports on program part health for the IPT, Senior Managers and or customers

  • Works closely with engineering to enable Supply Chain to influence design

  • Any other reasonable duties as required

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*

  • Experience of management of people / teams (Directly or indirectly)

  • Experience of working in matrix organizations / programs with evidence of cross functional collaboration

  • Able to demonstrate previous experience of designing and implementing supply chain strategies

  • Ability to analyze data and successfully develop and execute project plans

  • Experience in developing and delivering presentations to customers and internal stakeholders

  • Proven track record of achievement in a relevant position

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) - (proficient in Excel using formulae & VLOOKUP)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
