Summary
B/E Aerospace is seeking an energetic, self-starter for the position of Primavera Planning and Control Specialist with our Super First Class Seating business unit in Tucson, Arizona. This position functions with minimum supervision as a lead team member in supporting the development and maintenance of the Primavera system to support project planning, management, resource allocation and scheduling.
B/E Aerospace Super First Class has chosen Primavera to become the Enterprise wide schedule and resource management tool for all new development commercial aerospace first class seating programs. The implementation of Primavera will be done at the B/E Super First Class business unit in both Tucson, Arizona and Miami, Florida. B/E Aerospace is looking for an experienced Primavera Planning and Control Specialist who is interested in being part of the implementation team to install Primavera within B/E Aerospace Super First Class. As Primavera will be a new system for B/E Aerospace-SFC, the successful candidate will be involved in setting up the architecture to run Primavera across all functional departments, work with an experienced Primavera consultant to conduct site training, and be involved in the methodology on how Primavera can be utilized across the program teams to deliver new aerospace seat development programs from inception through product introduction.
Role Description: This Candidate will provide expertise in managing all programs in the Oracle based Primavera management system. The Primavera Planning and Control Specialist will work with all functional department managers and key contributors to create program schedules which align to resources, customer requirements, program milestones and the phase gate protocol established at B/E Aerospace. This will require a high level of collaboration and willingness for the Primavera Planning and Control Specialist to be interactive.
The Primavera Planning and Control Specialist will also be responsible for the timely creation of Primavera derived dashboards and reports to support both the program managers and the Integrated Program Teams. The Primavera Planning and Control Specialist will work closely with the program management office and executive team to align the portfolio of multiple schedules with the business objectives and to show visibility to resource allocations at both the B/E Aerospace SFC-Tucson and Miami facilities.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Create and maintain engineering and design schedules in support of new product development aerospace projects
· Responsible for research and development of work breakdown structure (WBS) and the overall effectiveness of the Primavera (P6) scheduling system, and well as the WebPM functionality.
· Monitors and facilitates the scheduling process from both the long and short term perspective to assure that capital portfolio goals are met.
· Maximizes the efficiency of the work force through the scheduling process.
· Coordinates shared resource activities over multiple projects.
· Provides reports, research, and problem solving skills for various groups on multiple projects
· Provides analytical insight into project risks, risk thresholds, labor requirements, and financial targets.
· Provides direct support to Project Managers and functional department heads with information obtained from schedule updates and financial data.
· Advise Project Managers, IPTs and executive level management of schedule conflicts, outage limitations and associated risks.
· Manages scope, cost, and schedules by participating as an active project team member, developing project schedules, reviewing project cost estimates, developing project management plans, entering project budgeting information, and coordinating project funding updates with finance staff
· Reports on status and financial matters by developing and updating project reports detailing status, cost, and schedule, assisting project managers by providing up to date project cost and forecast information, and assisting departmental staff with reports and information as necessary.
 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· 4 year University or College Degree
· Minimum of 4 years of full-time project scheduling experience in Primavera P6Web, Project Management v7xx and Timesheets v7xx, in a Production environment.
· Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
· Must understand program management processes and philosophies (e.g. Change Management, Integrated Product Teams, Project Baselines, etc.).

· Integrate data from external databases as well as data from the PPM tool into business databases.
· Build work breakdown structures; develop resource loading to integrate and link schedules; obtain and record project progress and actual project costs.
· Provide cost and schedule progress, earned value, and forecast reports.
· Create reporting for specific functional organizations and business wide distribution including resource charts, pert charts, Gantt charts, concepts of float, schedule status, revisions, etc.
· Participate in any process conversations directly related to Primavera usage and/or database management as relating to Planning and Program Management teams.
· Must have demonstrated ability to manage databases including integrating and extracting data in manner that is useful to the organization.
· Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions in order to recommend appropriate corrective action.
· Desired Qualifications:
· Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification desired.
· Demonstrated experience leading teams and presentation skills desired.
· Demonstrated experience in current financial budgeting and/or Business Objects financial reporting processes.

Builds aesthetically pleasing wood cabinetry for custom aircraft interiors.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cuts cabinetry material to proper dimensions using saw sand routers, and assembles pieces per drawings using adhesives and fasteners for all areas of the aircraft.
 
Cuts wood veneers, hardwood, and plastic laminates and applies to covering surfaces of cabinetry.
 
Fabricates plastic racks for holding glasses, decanters, and various other accessories in cabinets by routing out holes using templates, buffing openings to smooth cut edges, and installing in specific cabinets.
 
Drills instage where all components are fabricated and installed in the aircraft.
 
Interprets design and engineering drawings and work order instructions and plans and executes assignments.

B/E Aerospace has an opportunity for a Unigraphics Mechanical Design Engineer. This position has emerged as the result of an expanding base of business for custom interior programs forsuper first class cabins for commercial jets. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design of mechanical systems, such as those employed in aircraft seating and interiors.
