The ideal candidate will have experience in the design of mechanical systems, such as those employed in aircraft seating and interiors. Relevant competencies will include structures, complex surfaces, latching and kinematic movement mechanisms and cabinetry. Materials experiences should include sheet metal, machined components, composites, plastics, and wiring systems. Specific responsibilities will include: design of mechanical components and assemblies with an emphasis on manufacturability, reliability, and maintainability. Parametric modeling and design experience in Unigraphics will be preferred. Experience with FEA, DFM/A and related analysis and problem solving tools will be preferred.
