Job Summary:
Builds aesthetically pleasing wood and composite cabinetry for custom aircraft interiors.
Job Description:
Cuts cabinetry material to proper dimensions using saw sand routers, and assembles pieces per drawings using adhesives and fasteners for all areas of the aircraft.
Cuts wood veneers, hardwood, and plastic laminates and applies to covering surfaces of cabinetry.
Fabricates plastic racks for holding glasses, decanters, and various other accessories in cabinets by routing out holes using templates, buffing openings to smooth cut edges, and installing in specific cabinets.
Drills where all components are fabricated and installed in the aircraft.
Interprets design and engineering drawings and work order instructions and plans and executes assignments.
Performs other related duties as required.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum three years related experience.
