Position Responsibilities
As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing and have a number of exciting positions available right now. B/E Aerospace's Commercial Aircraft Segment is seeking an energetic, self-starter for the position of Supervisor Inventory Control with its Seating Products Group in Winston-Salem, NC. The Supervisor Inventory Control staffs, organizes, and supervises operations within the inventory group of a seating manufacturing facility.  Ensures that staff effectively manages the receipt, storage, selection, packaging, loading, and shipping of products to customers.   Key responsibilities of the position include:
* Control costs through productivity of staff, efficient utilization of storage space, and proper protection of stored materials.
* Maintain records of inventories and location for production control and cost accounting.
* Recommend warehouse/material handling equipment needs and replacement.
* Responsible for ensuring adherance to company policies of condut and safety; initiates disciplinary action.
* Identifies the causes of product losses and takes corrective action.
* Supervises nonexempt associates including interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Job Requirements
* Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university; and a minimum of two years related experience and/or training.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Must have excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
