As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a SQL/OBI Developer. This positionwill develop business solutions by creating new and modifying existing business intelligence applications. In this position you will design, code, test, debug, document and support Hyperion EPM/OBIEE/OBIA applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value.
Minimum Requirements
· Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
· 5+ years experience with Essbase, EPM, OBIEE, or OBIA application development
· 3+ years experience with SQL Server 2005 or above including performance tuning and best practices
Preferred Requirements
· Oracle Essbase or OBIEE product certification strongly preferred
· 5+ years Application Development and/or software implementation experience
· 5+ years SQL Server development experience
· Solid understanding of and ability to support enterprise data warehouses and multi-dimensional cubes: star and snowflake schemas, material views, dense versus sparse dimensions, ASO versus BSO, calc scripts, load rules, etc.
· 3+ years of experience with ERP systems
· Proficient with ETL concepts and Master Data Management
· Strong knowledge of Oracle Performance Management tools including Oracle Essbase Administration Services, Shared Services, Application Manager, and OBIEE
· Strong working knowledge and experience with JDE developer tools and processes
· JDE Enterprise One experience preferred but not required
· Familiarity with the EPM Suite including HFM, FDQM, Planning, Financial Reports, Web Analysis is a plus
Responsibilities
· Performs application development with team members on complex requirements involving multiple technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion HSF, Hyperion FDQM, Hyperion HFM, and OBIEE.
· Research industry trends and best practices and implement data management life cycle within the organization
· Assist in establishing Data Governance and Change Management processes
· Responsibilities for building, maintaining, managing, and optimizing:
o Oracle BI Server
o Oracle Enterprise Manager (Weblogic Server)
o Oracle BI Dashboards and Answers
o Oracle BI Publisher
· Responsible for building, maintaining, managing, and optimizing:
o SQL Data Marts from disparate data sources
o Complex T-SQL and PL/SQL scripts to facilitate data flow within the ETL framework
o Stored Procedures, SQL Server Jobs, Triggers, Functions, Views, Indexes, etc.
o SSIS environment and SQL Server Management Studio
· Knowledge of with pre-packaged OBIA modules (Supply Chain and Order Management, Procurement and Spend, Financial Analytics)
· Responsible for developing end-user reports and web analysis dashboards
· Works with business leaders to develop detailed business requirements, creating functional design, gap analysis, technical design, and traceability matrices
· Validate all project touch points and implement changes into production
· Designs, develops and tests enhancements of reporting applications in adherence to standards and methodology, including UAT testing requirements
· Completes production support service requests, troubleshooting issues and batch support to ensure high levels of application availability and accuracy
· Ensures high reporting application availability and accuracy as well as oversight of customer service requests
· Collaborates with ERP team to manage reporting throughout implementation/changeover
· Collaborates with applications development team to help convert silo reporting systems to enterprise solutions
· Works closely with personnel responsible for security policy and structure to keep current with domestic and international requirement and maintain data management systems in compliance with all pertinent guidelines and rules.
