B/E Aerospace's Commercial Aircraft Segment is seeking a energetic, self-starters for positions of Senior Program Manager with its Seating Products Group in Winston-Salem, NC. The Senior Program Manager manages the activities of multiple programs involving departmentand cross-functional teams. Additionally, the position is responsible for program delivery within prescribed time frames, funding parameters, and functionality. Thepositionmanages seating programs from initiation through delivery and manages a cross-functional, program-focused team that includes program administrators, line supervisors, line operatives, quality engineers, manufacturing engineers, buyers,material handlers, outside vendors,FAA and Aircraft ManufacturerRepresentativesin order to deliver aircraft seating programs on schedule that meet or exceed the customer quality expectations at planned or improved margins.

* Serves as Primary Customer Interface for all contractual and production matters related to the delivery of the Customer's Seating Product.
* Confers with all members ofprogram staff to outline work plan and responsibilities.
* Managesactivities of program personnel to ensure program progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
* Compiles status reports prepared by program personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required; prepares program reports for Senior Management, Customer, or others.
* Confers with program personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
* May directly or indirectly (dotted-line) supervise exempt and/or nonexempt associates and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
* Establishes operational objectives and assignments and delegates assignments to subordinate managers. Objectives are reviewed by senior management to determine success of operation.
* Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation and knowledge of various factors.
* Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
* Performs other related duties as required.
 
Job Requirements:

 
* Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university, and a minimum of eight years related experience. PMP preferred. 
* Manufacturing or Engineering experience/background  highly desireable.
* Ability to respond to complex inquiries or compaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of Senior Management.
* Must have demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to a wide range of stakeholders.  
* Expert level ability to effectively present information to Senior Management, Customers, and/or Boards of Directors.
* Strong understanding of Program Financials and Reporting.
* Ability to define problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions.
* Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
* Ability to travel independently both nationally and internationally.
* Demonstrated ability to pro-actively define problems, collect data, and identify solutions.
* Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers or regulatory agencies.
* Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
* Demonstrated solid interpersonal skills as evidenced by effectively working with cross functional teams.
