Technician, Field Support Renton, WA
Our Field Support Technicians perform service activities associated with installing, maintaining and servicing B/E products at customer sites or in-house. Products supported include passenger seats, monuments, galleys, LLS equipment, lighting, inserts and appliances.
Duties include providing operation and maintenance instruction to customer personnel; set-up and utilization of specialized test and diagnostic equipment to isolate malfunctions; replace defective units/components as appropriate; and work with customers to identify operational and technical problems and seek resolution to same.
Qualifications:High school diploma or GED; and minimum of one year related experience and/or training. Must be able to pass customer security clearance, provide proof of US Citizenship, lift 50 pounds, and have a current valid driver’s license.
Electrical troubleshooting skills desirable. The work is in Renton, WA and environment is in a manufacturing and flight line setting where hearing and eye protection are required. May work around operating jet engines. Incumbent would provide their own tools, and they must be available to work weekends an overtime.
