SUMMARY
Plans, coordinates and directs a unit responsible for Quality Management System designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops, administers and maintains quality assurance procedures and activities required to ensure that the company's products are in compliance with quality standards.
 
Supervises visual and physical inspection, sampling, testing and control of parts, products and materials to conform to established standards of quality, either in the raw state or after various stages of manufacturing.
 
Supervises the use of various kinds of gauges and measuring instruments and the application of standardized tests.

* Develop the long term Strategy for deploying End User Training content in support of the rollout of a new ERP solution (JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.1). This comprehensive solution will impact all major processes within the company:  Plan to Ship, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, and Hire to Retire.
* Manage the execution of the detailed project to build, test, and deploy the content across multiple sites around the globe.   More specifically, the candidate will:
* Create and implement custom education programs that demonstrate knowledge of Adult Learning Principles and incorporate best practice delivery techniques
* Plan, design, develop, organize, write and edit instructor-led training content as well as storyboards for electronic learning modules
* Conduct training needs assessments.  This includes working with the ERP Program OCM (Organizational Change Management) team to identify significant change areas requiring enhanced training.

* Monitor the team’s efforts to utilize Oracle UPK version 11.0 Standard to build hundreds of courses.  Establish standards for use of this tool/technique that would be adopted long term beyond the completion of the ERP project.  Manage and hold accountable the 3rd party vendor’s UPK Developers to their SOW to ensure project goals are met.
* Manage integration of this newly built content into SuccessFactors LMS (Learning Management System).  
* Establishing architectural standards/platform (ex. SCORM/AICC, Flash, Java, etc) as well as ensuring that UPK content can blend easily with content purchased from 3rd part providers such as SkillSoft.  Final deliverable should include a comprehensive BE Educational Catalog that is easy to navigate and work seamlessly across all courses regardless of which company has developed them.
* Develop the transition plan and ongoing support model for post-go live utilization of the training content.  At the end of the ERP rollout, the L&amp;D Specialist will be transitioned over to the HR department and work closely with other HR/L&amp;D team members on a variety of enhancements and long term Production support.
 
Minimum Requirements
* BS/BA in training or human resources related fields
* 5+ years of progressive learning and development experience in relation to deployment of large enterprise class software (ERP, CRM, etc).
* Experience with educational vendor contracts, online learning, learning management systems, and other instructional learning technologies
* Experience working in large, global organizations with a geographically dispersed workforce

SUMMARY
As the Engineering Supervisor, Sustaining, you will have direct responsibilities for managing the Sustaining Engineering department for our aircraft Beverage Maker business unit. SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the incumbent will serve as the supply chain architect for new development aircraft programs with particular concentration on composite materials. Prepare, modify and release drawings created in CAD (Unigraphics, Solidworks, Pro-E, and Catia) to verify fit, form and function of mechanical designs.
Verify structural acceptability of designs by testing prototypes for reliability and FAA certification through dynamic crash testing.
Utilize engineering tools such as FMEAs, FEA, and DFMA to validate design content.
Evaluate materials and parts for use in new designs including communicating with current and new suppliers.
