OBJECTIVE:
Receive instructions from Sales and Marketing, review customer specific data, and return to Sales and Marketing, the final contract for approval and signature. Provide guidance to team members. To support and maintain all customer requirements for contract specific parts through the term of the contract.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Review and analyzes contract documents to determine contractual obligations
* Review, prepare and disseminate information (i.e. shop list, award review list) throughout the company (i.e. Quality, Sales and Marketing, Operation, etc.) regarding contract status - compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination
* Extract data from the system and inform personnel of the application of specific requirements (i.e. ITAR/DFAR/PMA/TSO) to contracted parts - awards and proposals
* Responsible of data retention of all information pertaining to customer contract proposal and awards
* Complete the terms and conditions of the contract template with customer relevant information (i.e. addressee, terms of the contract, etc.) and submit to stakeholders (i.e. Supervisor, Sales and Marketing, Legal, etc.) for review
* Participates in projects, investigations or analyses and issues reports as required.
* Trains co-workers on various tasks performed within the Contracts department
* Coaches and provides guidance in assisting co-workers with solving issues
* Performs other related duties as required
Awards
* Enter contracted part numbers into the system
* Make modifications (i.e. change part numbers, quantity of parts, manufacture name, etc.) within the Part List of the Contract
* Monitors "hot issues'' and develops a plan of action in solving them. Works with others to solve the issues
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Associate's Degree
* Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience working within a Contracts department
* Ability to write reports, and procedural manuals
* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, rebates and percentages
* Ability to solve practical problems
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
* Experience in all phases of office procedures including use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Fluency in English, (written and oral)
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related area
* Experience working within the Aerospace industry
* Knowledge of aviation parts
