B/E Aerospace, Inc. – Flight Structures, Inc. (FSI), a leading designer and manufacturer of specialty aircraft modifications and interior products located in Marysville WA (just 15 minutes north of Seattle) is searching for career-minded individuals to join our design team on some exciting new programs:
AIRCRAFT mechanical Interior DESIGN Engineers III
Our design team utilizes 3-D software to develop design concepts and produce engineering drawings on numerous airlines and many diverse types of aircraft worldwide. Skills that we highly desire are someone who can specify component parameters, select materials and design parts to be used for aircraft interiors structural modifications; Prepare FAA documents and test plans.
If your experience includes knowledge of aerospace industry materials, parts, and processes; knowledge of FAA regulations; competency in operating Unigraphix NX or higher 3-D software; and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and a minimum of seven years of aircraft interior monuments mechanical design experience, then you should be considering FSI for your next career opportunity. Job Requirements:
Mechanical Design Interiors III
Personnel should have experience with interior reconfiguration design for commercial aircraft or overhead lighting exposure or secondary interiors structure design.
BS degree and minimum of seven years commercial aircraft interior monument mechanical design required. Unigraphic version NX or higher highly or Catia V5 is required. B/E Aerospace currently uses UG NX v. 5 and is highly desired.
