As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing and have a number of exciting positions available right now. B/E Aerospace's Commercial Aircraft Segment is seeking energetic, self-starters for the position of Program/Project Administrator at our Lenexa, KS facility. At our Lenexa site we manufacture and assemble a wide selection of passenger and crew oxygen storage and delivery systems. The  Program/Project Administrator provides program control support to program management staff to facilitate successful completion of program objectives. This individual reduces the program manager’s workload, allowing the program manager of large, complex programs to concentrate his/her time and effort on higher-level tasks.
 
Key Responsibilities:
*
Assists program manager with developing integrated program schedule; maintains and updates integrated program schedule related to critical path, risk and mitigation plans, and recovery actions; communicates status.
*
Prepares monthly financial status reports; implements and maintains EVM systems. Develops cost controls, procedures, systems and forecasting techniques to evaluate program health and status.
*
Collects, interprets, and inputs data into the project control databases; reports progress against program objectives and accurately prepares data for forecast of program progress.
*
Provides and maintains program and project control reports; assists program managers in use of management software that reports program status.
*
Performs moderately complex financial/administrative reporting for major programs.
*
Works with program managers to assist in developing and maintaining program control documentation and change cost proposals.
*
Supports development of policies and procedures for program execution.
*
Assists in designing program control requirements to increase business efficiencies; generates and analyzes program metrics.
*
Interfaces with various integrated program teams on a daily basis.
*
May execute low-risk programs, single programs, multiple smaller programs, or a portion of much larger and complex programs
 
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; and at least seven years related experience and/or training.
* Ability to manage controls and reporting for multiple projects at one time and the ability to coordinate efforts across multiple development sites, both foreign and domestic.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous program/project management background is preferred
* Formal training in project management is preferred
