As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Program Manager in our Beverage Maker business located in Lenexa, Kansas.
Reporting to the Sr. Program Manager, the Program Manager will manage the activities of product lines / projects / programs involving department or cross-functional teams. Focuses on delivery within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Monitors the product line / program / project from initiation through delivery.
Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project; reports findings to management.
Confers with project staff to outline work plan and responsibilities.
Coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
Compiles status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required; prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
Performs other related duties as required.
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.
Minimum of five (5) years industry experience, with a minimum three (3) years project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field.
Aerospace experience is desirable.
Experience using Primavera P6 a plus.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to develop a solid understanding of the project’s goals, and the ability to put these various elements together to produce a well-defined scope in order to achieve a successful project outcome. Ability to manage time and resources.
Ability to effectively work in a team environment and interact with co-workers from a variety of departments.
