As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing and have a number of exciting positions available right now. B/E Aerospace's Commercial Aircraft Segment is seeking energetic, self-starters for the position ofManufacturing Engineer ofnew product developmentat our Lenexa, KS facility. At our Lenexa site we manufacture and assemble a wide selection of passenger and crew oxygen storage and delivery systems. As a manufacturing engineer, after orientation and training, you will be responsible for performing limited assignments of specific engineering tasks, e.g., a minor phase of a larger project, testing new products. The emphasis is on documentation, monitoring, and testing. Other responsibilities include:

Perform a variety of routine tasks that are planned to provide experience and familiarization with the engineering staff, methods, practices, and programs of the company.
Use readily available clear and direct references, provide straightforward solutions to problems.
Collect and evaluate data, and develop plans for assignments that may involve design application.
Perform professional Manufacturing Engineering assignments of a basic degree of complexity under direction and supervision with limited latitude for independent action and decision.
Apply basic engineering principles to perform routine design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations.
May prepare plans, process specifications and procedures, production aids and assembly fixtures, MRP support studies, factory cost work standards and assignments of similar complexity and magnitude where technical supervision provides an outline of tasks to be performed and suggestions as to methods of approach and procedures to be followed.
Ensure technical compliance with HS & E, OSHA regulations and requirements.
Conduct analysis or tests of a routine degree of complexity pertaining to the development of new methods, materials, processes or standards and provide recommendations accordingly.
