Our Lenexa facility specializes the production of Oxygen Life Support Systems and Galley Inserts Beverage Maker Products. Our Oxygen and Beverage Maker small parts assembly manufacturing focuses on safety and quality products production into the field for aircraft crew and passengers.

As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Contracts and Customer Service Manager in our Beverage Maker Products business located in Lenexa, Kansas.


Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Contracts and Customer Service Manager will manage B/E Aerospace Beverage Maker Products sales contract administration activity at our Lenexa, KS, facility to enhance business performance and to protect the company’s commercial contracts and legal exposure.


  • Collaborating with Sales, Marketing and Engineering Departments to support the sales/marketing functions, including sales proposals, the administrations of contracts and other support functions.

  • Administers and coordinates assigned activities involving the acceptance, monitoring and performance of contracts between the Company and our customers, including pre-contract discussions and contractual changes.

  • Monitors company conformance to original proposal and maintain continual review to ensure all terms and conditions are met.

  • Independently prepares sales presentations, contract reviews and proposals to ensure successful outcome of transactions.

  • Facilitates internal review of Agreements and supports the commercial execution of contracts.

  • Perform/support analysis as directed of business/contract issues to support decision making by Business Units.

  • Manages document control including organization and process mapping of contractual relationships.

  • Effectively works in the contract database tool which handles workflow.

  • Adopts process improvements within the contracts organization, understands procedures to manage the risks and liabilities during the bid process.

  • Maintains positive internal/external customer interactions, proactively insuring contractual compliance and performance.

  • Resolves issues, concerns and problems within the scope of designated authority and Company policy for assigned aspects of contracts negotiations.

  • Manages workload and additional projects with conflicting timelines and deliverables.

  • Analyzes sales forecasts to determine short and medium-term requirements for production resources (people, materials, equipment).

  • Acts as a liaison between customers, manufacturing, sales, field service, order processing and accounting to resolve status, production, delivery and billing inquiries.

  • Develops and coordinates technical training for staff and/or customers.

  • Develops and recommends manpower plans, operational budgets and the like in order to manage the customer support and planning organization.

  • Monitors and adjusts schedule to respond to market/production requirements and optimize costs.

  • Develops and implements communication and tracking programs in support of the organizations objectives.

  • Responsible for sales order fulfillment and on time delivery.


  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university and 10 years of experience or equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.


  • Minimum of three years’ experience in Commercial Contracts.

  • Strong analytical, organizational and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skill and be able to interact with all levels - external and internal.

  • Be able to work collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and externally to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results.

  • Has a strong commitment to customer service and has the ability to plan and manage multiple tasks within highly demanding time frames.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing positive customer relations; conduct contract negotiations and administration.

  • Experience in aerospace industry a plus.
