As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Electriciall Design Engineer - 787 in our Flight Structures business located in Everett, WA.

  • JOB SUMMARY*

Performs complex assignments often requiring development of new or improved products/processes/techniques. Assesses feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering tests/products/equipment. The position requires an ability to interpret, on a broad basis, the principles, theories, and concepts of an engineering specialty.

  • JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Contributes to successful project completion by participating in the resolution of issues such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard material, and difficult coordination requirements.

  • Coordinates project activities with other operating or engineering units to facilitate participation of appropriate staff in project completion.

  • Reviews project-related documentation to ensure its accuracy.

  • Participates in professional organizations to maintain current knowledge of technical innovations.

  • Assists in determining project objectives to contribute to the development of a comprehensive project design.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:*

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from four-year college or university.

  • Eight (8) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Extensive experience on Boeing 787 in one or more of the following areas: electrical system design, wire design, wire installation, equipment installation, CRN design, cabin system configuration, electrical ship side support.
