As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now including the Quality Assurance Customer Engineer position at our headquarters in Miami, FL.
OBJECTIVE
Support the customer quality engineering activities within the department.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Acts as the customer liaison for compliance to customer quality requirements and customer satisfaction
* Responsible for monitoring and tracking customer quality data
* Responsible for root cause corrective action (RCCA) and verify implementation of Corrective actions
* Ensure RCCAs meet internal and customer requirements.
* Responsible for monitoring and reporting on customer scorecards
* Supports continual improvement efforts both internally and externally
* Initiate purges and ensure containment is taken within 48 hours
* Assists in the writing and reviewing of technical and performance specifications, quality plans, sampling plans, and inspections procedures
* Support compliance to Quality Management System procedures
* Assist in internal and Customer audits
* Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
JOBREQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field
* Minimum zero to two years Process and/or Quality Engineering experience
* Must be able to analyze data for accuracy and correctly interpret results
* Effective written and verbal communication skills including presentations
* Proficient in understanding and interpreting engineering specifications, and drawings
* Solid understanding of quality management systems including ISO9001 and AS9100
* Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
* Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Must be able to work in a team environment
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
* Knowledge of Lean Principles
* Strong analytical, organizational and troubleshooting skills.
* Professional quality certifications ( ASQ-CQE,CQA)
* Six Sigma certified
* Strong knowledge of FAA regulations
