As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including the Global Quality Systems Manager position at our headquarters in Miami, FL.
OBJECTIVE:
Provide a single point of contact and perform tasks as a subject matter expert for all Quality System functions on business platforms. Leads global functional teams and support the Quality Management System. Lead project teams as needed to implement new System requirements and support continuous improvement goals.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Represent the Consumable Management organization as a Quality system Subject Matter Expert
* Lead all internal and third party audits, globally
* Provide Consumable Management business with Quality Data and metrics for weekly/monthly/quarterly presentations
* Responsible for all communication and serve as the point of contact for our third party registrar
* Responsible for maintaining and updating Quality Management System on intranet
* Responsible for Global internal audit team and internal audit schedule
* Provide direct support for all facilities and teams as needed to facilitate resolution of any issue with the Quality System.
* Lead Management review for Consumable Management
* Lead all corrective action responses for internal and third party audits
* Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned by supervisor.
BASIC ESSENTIAL CRITERIA/QUALIFICATION:
* BS/BA degree in an applicable field (i.e. Engineering, Business Management, etc.)
* Minimum of 3-5 years Process/Quality Engineering experience
* Minimum of 2 years experience managing teams
* Experience with FAA audits
* Strong working knowledge of AS9100/9120/ISO9001 quality standards
* Project management skills
* Must understand business metrics and measurement criteria
* Must be able to analyze data for accuracy and correctly interpret results.
* Must understand business metrics and measurement criteria
* Strong analytical, organizational and troubleshooting skills.
* Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel and PowerPoint, Access, RelationalDatabases, MS Outlook.
* Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
* Knowledge of Lean Principles
* Certified Quality Engineer preferable.
* Six Sigma Green belt highly desired.
* Previous Quality System implementation and maintenance preferred
