As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including the Director of Global Quality Assurance based at our headquarters in Miami.
OBJECTIVE
Create and support a world class Quality culture across all B/E sites by aligning with the business and driving synergy and compliance.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage the Quality Departments resources and develop improvement plans to ensure objectives are achieved
* Accountable for implementing and maintaining consistent global Quality metrics and improvement goals IAW industry, customer, and company charters
* Train and continuously develop the QA team, and promote an open and collaborative cross-functional culture
* Advise the management team on Quality performance trends and any issues that could impact the business
* Ensure that internal / external customer requirementsare met, and develop Quality Department service initiatives
* Liaise with customers on a regular basis to understand and improve Company Quality performance and partnerships
* Develop programs to minimize waste and non-conformance
* Continually develop the Company Quality System and ensure the internal audit program is maintained
* Liaise with and support all departments to achieve overall business objectives
* Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quality Leader in mid to large global organizations in Aerospace or Automotive industry
* In-depth knowledge and practical experience deploying / overseeing FAA policies and procedures
* In-depth knowledge and practical experience deploying / overseeing of third party Quality system and audit functions
* Knowledge of inspection processes and procedures, and experience / success in delivering high levels of delivered quality and customer satisfaction
* Practical experience and success in reducing the cost of quality through systems, lean process, and talent enhancements
* Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with internal and external customers
* Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
* Strong analytical, organizational and troubleshooting skills
* Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel and PowerPoint
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
* Extensive knowledge of aerospace hardwareKnowledge of Lean / Six Sigma and 6 S methodologies
