As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including the Manager, Supplier Quality at our facility in Phoenix, AZ.   OBJECTIVE:   Leads the supplier quality efforts for the supplier quality team.   MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   * Lead a global team of Supplier Quality Engineers who are responsible for systemic quality improvement of B/E supply base. * Lead the Implementation of robust quality operating system to ensure supplier performance metrics meet B/E expectations * Co-leader in the Segmentation of the supply base to focus on supplier Quality improvements that significantly impact the operational cost and productivity * Visit suppliers regularly to monitor manufacturing process, assist with audits,solve technical issues and ensure quality standards and flow down requirements met / exceed B/E expectations * Implementation of the supplier scorecard process to evaluate quality performance for suppliers * Support sourcing recommendations by conducting supplier quality assessment of the manufacturing site(s) and provide quality recommendations upon sourcing to ensure that suppliers are delivering parts on time with the right quality * Report to management supplier quality issues, etc. * Collaborate with all CM B/E sites in the elimination of supplier caused escapes to B/E customers * Lead various quality problem solving teams to identify root causes and correct actions (RCCA) to eliminate defect causes and implement preventative actions * Responsible for key internal quality metrics (Supplier OTD,PPM, Corrective actions response) * Leads efforts required to develop, implement, and verify manufacturing control systems at suppliers * Active member of the Product Integrity Committee * Co-leader of supplier business review with Executive management * Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned   JOB REQUIREMENTS:   * Bachelor degree in engineering, or related field * Minimum of seven years experience as a Quality, Supply Chain or Materials Manager * Must be able to analyze data for accuracy and correctly interpret results * Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written * Strong Auditing skills * Proven leadership ability * Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation and troubleshooting skills * Working Knowledge of standard quality practices * Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel and PowerPoint, Access, Relational Databases, MS Outlook  * Detailed understanding of root cause analysis, process mapping, Manufacturing assessments, and control plan development * Understanding of Business metrics and measurement criteria * Must be able to work in teams * Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization      * Expert knowledge of AS 9100, AS9102 requirements   ADDITIONAL CRITERIA:   * Knowledge of Lean Principles * Professional quality certifications (ASQ-CQE,CQA) * Six Sigma certified * MBA preferred2012-01-04 18:29:26United StatesB/E Aerospace, Inc.ArizonaNoneAZChandler, AZ25689572http://careers.beaerospace.com/xml/25689572/job
