SUMMARY
Under general direction, performs a wide variety of complex planning activities required to attain production objectives.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 
Reviews engineering plans and product specifications to determine raw material requirements to support manufacturing schedules.
 
Works with Purchasing to obtain and schedule materials based on production forecasts.
 
Works with Engineering and related areas to develop tools and procedures to maximize facility and equipment utilization.
 
Assignments are generally the most complex within planning activities and include the attainment of planning objectives where products and/or production processes are new or manufacturing processes are variable.
 
May direct and assist lower level planners.

SUMMARY
Builds aesthetically pleasing wood cabinetry for custom aircraft interiors.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cuts cabinetry material to proper dimensions using saw sand routers, and assembles pieces per drawings using adhesives and fasteners for all areas of the aircraft.
 
Cuts wood veneers, hardwood, and plastic laminates and applies to covering surfaces of cabinetry.
 
Fabricates plastic racks for holding glasses, decanters, and various other accessories in cabinets by routing out holes using templates, buffing openings to smooth cut edges, and installing in specific cabinets.
 
Drills instage where all components are fabricated and installed in the aircraft.
 
Interprets design and engineering drawings and work order instructions and plans and executes assignments.

SUMMARY
In conjunction with key R&amp;D and business stakeholders and Program Managers, build and lead a team responsible for defining and shaping the overall system architecture, systems integration and systems validation and verification strategy for an aircraft system technologies.

In conjunction with key R&amp;D and business stakeholders and Program Managers, build and lead a team responsible for defining and shaping the overall system architecture, systems integration and systems validation and verification strategy for an aircraft system technologies.

B/E Aerospace has an opportunity for a Unigraphics Mechanical Design Engineer. This position has emerged as the result of an expanding base of business for custom interior programs forsuper first class cabins for commercial jets. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design of mechanical systems, such as those employed in aircraft seating and interiors. Relevant competencies will include structures, complex surfaces, latching and kinematic movement mechanisms and cabinetry. Materials experiences should include sheet metal, machined components, composites, plastics, and wiring systems. DUTIES:
Reporting to Vice President-SFC Programs 

This person will perform executive level program management in support of our key customer programs.This person will serve as the program manager and have full financial and program execution responsibility.This will include execution of high dollar, complex first class aerospace seating and suite cabinetry development programs.
