As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and implementing sales to specific major accounts where cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, technical product knowledge and account management skills are critical. You will be responsible for proposing, implementing and monitoring product marketing plans to achieve sales and profit objectives for allocated products. Other responsibilities include:
* Planning how to establish and maintain major account relationships and meeting personal sales targets within the full line of products or combination of products
* Establishing and building strong client relationships over time that allow for continuity and ongoing representation reinforced by sales support/delivery programs, and communicating to other relevant company functions/divisions.
* Strong Technical knowledge and understanding of the product line to liaison between engineering, certification and procurement teams both internally and externally
* Monitoring competitor activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated
* Controlling expenditures within budget for new product development and promotions
* Preparing product marketing plans and discontinuation plans to ensure that product range is in tune with market opportunities
* Acting as the liaison with internal departments and external agencies to ensure full communication and success of marketing plans
* Contributing to creativity of product presentation and promotional activities
* Constantly monitoring performance of managed products to ensure it meets company objectives
* Ensuring effective administration of products through marketing proposals and product briefs
* Identifying new business opportunities for new products; proposing initial plans to exploit these opportunities

* Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four year college or university and a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Must have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and analyze data in support of formulating appropriate strategies and tactics
* Must have previous cabin interiors experience
* Experience with direct customer interactions and air transport or aircraft cabin experience is required
* Engineering degree or strong technical sales experience background required
* Proven track record in developing and managing clients
* Must be capable of balancing general prospecting requirements, fulfilling customer needs and meeting company expectations and goals
* Enthusiasm for sales and business development; proactive sales approach
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle simultaneous projects
* Outstanding creative thinking and problem solving skills
* Must have strong interpersonal skills (written, verbal, in-person and via phone)
* Ability to influence the activities and contributions of other stakeholders to effect enhancements and solutions is required
* Must have the ability to collaborate and build consensus to achieve the expected results
* Self-starter with demonstrated capability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
* Global travel required
* Travel: minimum 50%
